Blow Your Big Bazoo

When you look up the word “Bazoo” it has multiple meanings. In slang, it can refer to the mouth, or a sound of disapproval like a raspberry. It can also refer to a simple wind instrument like a kazoo.  Additionally, it says Bazoo is a brand of toilet paper. I think all of this makes total sense.



Most of this was recorded in my basement, which is exactly what it sounds like. There are also little bits and pieces that were recorded elsewhere. Some as far back on a portable “Realistic” cassette tape recorder. I didn’t make this for the charts or critics or algorithms. I made it for me. Just me. Sitting in my little room, making noises, trying to surprise myself. Enjoying moments of solitary sound with no one else listening. Nobody to disappoint. But now it’s out there for anyone to listen. It will probably disappoint many. But maybe, just maybe, it’ll amuse a few kindred wandering hearts tuned into the same frequency.
